Really? I think it would be so cool to be pregnant at the same time as my Mom but she is my best friend too. Plus, I guess I don't think 46 is old or anything (maybe because I am 37). I think it would be kinda fun. But I see how it could freak some people out.
Totally! I have to admit I would worry my kid is going to miss out on having that "grandma" sort of relationship b/c I think it would be hard to be grandma and mom to the same age child.
My grandma wasn't pg same time as my aunt but her youngest daughter is only 2 years older than her first granchild.. I guess overlaping familys don't weird me out because mine is so big.
Haha...I had my baby when I was 21. My step mom is 39 and undergoing fertility treatment to have her first. So, my DD aunt or uncle will be at least a year younger than her....it is strange.
My stepmom would LOVE to have another baby. She is only 36, my dad is 51. I have a 7 year old half brother, and although my 2 sisters and I have a GREAT relationship with my stepmom, she has always wanted atleast 2 kids of her own. My dad's excuse for the last 7 years is he already has 4 beautiful, healthy children and doesn't feel the need to "press his luck." Personally, I think it would be great if they had another one, even though the first grandbaby is almost here.
On the flip side, and maybe this is wrong, but if it were my actual mom wanting to have another baby I'd be completely weirded out.
Re: My besties mom is pregnant....and now so is she.
Sounds like that episode of 16 and Pregnant...

Because they are pregnant at the same time.
My mom was 45 when she had me, and I have 2 nephews older than me. I think that had to be weird for my sister and SIL.
What does your friend think?
