And when did you start to notice it/see it develop? The first few weeks she slept most of the day and was so peaceful while doing it. She'd fuss a little at night but no biggie. Now it seems like when she is awake during the day she's unhappy, apparently awake=crying (or all out wailing). I think I have a bit of a fussy/difficult baby on my hands =( or is it too soon to tell?
Re: What is your baby's temperament?
That is normal. It takes babies a few months to get adjusted to this new world. My DD#1 had colic and was fussy for the first 3 months. DD#2 is pretty happy except in her car seat. Then she fusses.
My baby only cries when he is hungry and has a little witching (fussy) hour between 6-7:30. That is when we start bedtime.
Otherwise, when he is awake, he is super laid back, easy going and generally happy/smiley
Our baby is super easygoing. He cries only when he needs something (though sometimes it takes a while to figure out what that something is).
In fact, I'm scared to have another one... if I'm this tired with an easygoing baby, I would probably be dead with a colicky one!! Kudos to moms who manage it.
