I have a tiny scar from the orthodontist when I was a freshman in high school. He was doing something with a drill, I think, and he dropped it on my chin. I then heard him keep asking the assistant for gauze. Finally, he brought my mom back and said I should probably go get stitches. I never like my orthodontist before that, and it went downhill from here.

My dermatologist was worried about a couple of moles I had. She sent me to a dermatological plastic surgeon to have them removed and tested. It was a terrible experience and left an ugly scar.

Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

I got it when I was 5 years old and I was using my father's neck tie as a skipping rope (which I wasn't supposed to be doing of course) and fell and split my chin open. Had to get stitches

I am a animal lover though, love to go to zoo's, the county fairs etc. (Kinda funny - DH laughs at me all the time....we'll be driving and I will say "oooh a cow, I want to pet it!" Or, any animal!)

5. Tell us about a scar you have. On my face, its little, I have one from when I was 4 yrs old and pulled an iron coat rack down and it hit my face.

5. I have a scar going from right under my boobs to right under my belly (a straight line in the middle). I was in an accident years ago and was bleeding internally. They couldn't figure out where so they opened me up for exploratory surgery.
When I do get PG someday, I will have to have a C-section. I want them to give me the usual C-section scar, that way I have an anchor on my belly. LOL

5. Tell us about a scar you have. I have a barely noticeable line in the crevice of my chin from a car accident I had 10 years ago where I hit the windshield and my upper teeth bit through my chin. It sounds awful, but luckily it really wasn't that bad and healed on it's own.

5. Tell us about a scar you have. I have matching scars in my arms near my elbows from an oven burn. I was pulling something out of the oven, but stupid me did not open the oven door all the way down. The hot oven door came back up and slammed on my arms. Ouch!
1. I love winter! It's so beautiful with all that fresh, crisp snow.
2. My profile pic is synchronized swimmers. I used to be one, so I thought it was appropriate.
3. My favourite animal has always been dolphins. I loved being underwater and always wanted to swim with the dolphins. On my honeymoon, DH made sure I got my wish.
4. The last thing I bought was a tea from Tim Hortons. I get one every day on my way to work.
5. I have a 7 inch scar on each foot from bunion surgery I had when I was 17. They broke my big toe bone in 2 places and secured it with one screw and two pins in each foot. It still hurts like hell, even more so now because they went back worse than they started out. Boo urns. I hate shoe shopping for this very reason!

Our little miracle baby is a boy.
Baby Boy Owen and Baby Girl Avery were born too early on Feb. 13, 2011 due to a pedunculated fibroid, incompetent cervix and suspected placental abruption.
