Separate crib skirts

I think I want to go the separates route, with regards to crib bedding, because I don't plan on getting much use out of a bumper and blanket. I'd rather have a few fitted sheets that I know I will use frequently.

But I admit that even though they are totally useless, I love crib skirts. They just add something to the bedding and I want one. Problem is most sets I like don't sell the items separately and I can't find any cute crib skirts separate.

Short of having someone make me one, have you found a place that has a decent selection of crib skirts?

    i went through this exact thing. and, i don't even like half of what's out there. i couldn't even find someone on etsy that i liked their style, so i ended up searching around until a friend of a friend had someone that they recommended in the area. so now i'm getting exactly what i want! so, i would really suggest maybe trying to find someone to make it for you!

    If you can find fabric you like you can have someone on etsy custom make the skirt for you, or if you have a friend that sews it's not hard.

    I didn't want a set, but founds some perfect fabric so decided to make it myself.

    Carousel Designs has a bunch.  Not sure how much $$ you're willing to spend, but if you're doing separates, then I would think you could splurge a little on a cute skirt.  It's something that you'll see everyday for a long time, so go for it!    Smile

    You might check ebay and craigslist. I got mine on craigslist.

    I also recommend Carousel Designs (babybedding.com).

    We ordered our bedding from here because we didn't want the bumpers/quilts, etc.. either.  I also like the fact that they have solid sheets and accessories.
