so i am CD42 and still no AF. and i have taken 2 tests--BFN. my friend asked if i read it wrong and since i took the digital test and it says not pregnant i don't think i am reading it wrong. i have never been late and really wanted to start charting this month. should i wait until CD60 to call the DR or call her now?

I'm in the same boat... called the doc yesterday and they said they wouldnt consider inducing AF until 60.. I'll keep my fingers crossed you and I both get a BFP before we get to 60!

and then call your DR for advice, I went 80 some days without AF and it came on it's own. I consulted a DR at around the 70 day mark.

ashleyann82--did you normally get your AF every month? i have been off birth control for about 3 years and this is the first time i have missed it.

but i will hold off until CD60!

I came off BCP in April, 1st cycle was 54 days, 2nd was 84 days, 3rd was 44 and this one has yet to end but will probably be 38. My body may still be regulating.

jessalyn and nabiasi - have either of you had any symptoms to make you think one way or the other, or is it just late? I just posted for the first time earlier today with the same problem. This is only my second cycle after bc so I'm new to all this and I'm just wondering what others' experiences are.

i have been a little nauseous practically every day and really exhausted and more emotional. and like i said i have been off birth control for 3 years and have never been this late. always within a few days. my cycle is usually 30 days give or take a couple days. but definitly never this long. i also had slight cramping last week. but my boobs haven't hurt like they usually do and i usually get really severe cramping for at least one day and haven't had that either.

the last time i tested was tuesday CD40. so i guess i will wait a few more days and if no AF then test again.

have had a few nauseous days.. and a little cramping... my nipples and boobs hurt a few days last week but don't anymore.... i've been bloated for over a week- which usually only happens before AF for like a day or two.. and i'm exhausted and emotional. however.. all of these could be symptoms of AF.. i've just never been this late before or had these symptoms for such an extended period of time.

this was the first month we "tried" or just took our chances.. b/c we just got married last month.. but i've been off the pill for 6 months now. so far it's been 42 day cycles consistently. so of course all of these factors combined makes me think I'd get a BFP.... but so far no dice! going to test again tomororow morning. I hate that I've let myself get my hopes up! I just want to know either way!

I finally got AF at CD55 (yesterday) with 5 BFNs.... So i totally know how you feel. Just have to wait it out. My dr didn't even want to see me until after CD60.
