8 monthers come in!

Today my mom mentioned that I should maybe start feeding my LO more food, so I wanted to see how much other babies are eating...

My DS has 24 ounces in formula

11 ounces about in solids plus oatmeal (like 4 tbsp)

 

what is everyone else doing?

    I don't really know, so I'm not much help. I still EBF on demand (and not at all on a schedule) so I have no idea how many ounces she's getting. We do three meals and a few mum mum pieces during the day, but the amount she eats at each meal completely varies. I try to do 2 food cubes with some oatmeal sprinkled in. Some nights she wants more, but other times she only eats half of it. It completely depends on what it is.

    30-35 oz formula (down from almost 50 as a comparison..lol...big eater)

    6-8 ozs of jarred food.

    We aren't quite 8 mos yet, but our list from the pedi has me giving 1 2nd stage jar plus oatmeal in the morning and another 2nd stage jar at night, plus we BF/bottle 6X a day. Sounds like you are doing fine!

    My LO is not quite 8 months.  We just started a 3rd meal this week.  She went from 36 oz to 30 oz a day.  We do 2 oz of food at each meal plus we mix in rice or oatmeal.  She also has puffs for snacks.
