Clomid?

I am supposed to be starting this during my next cycle.  Just wondering what (if any) side effects I might experience...I'm nervous!!!

Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

    I took 50 mgs for TTC #1. The only side effect I experienced were hot flashes at night (I get cold very easily too). I took it right before bedtime as suggested to minimize side effects.

    Some people have really bad side effects - and some don't have any.  For a lot of people, you get super moody/cranky (a la PMS) with bloating, hot flashes, headaches, etc.   I didn't have anything other than an occasional  hot flash.  I also took at night with a lot of water.

    I had all of these, and also took at night immediately before bed.  DH called it the Clomid Crazies.  It kicked in around day 3 of the 5 doses, and was gone a day or two after the last dose.

    Ditto the clomid crazies, hot flashes and headaches.  Out of three rounds of clomid (all 100mg) I only got side effects one of those cycles and they were gone a few days after I stopped the pills.

    The only side effect that I had were the hot flashes...and I had them bad...I took it at night with water...and other than that, I don't remember any other side effects.  Good luck!  I hope this works for you!

    I had all of the fun side effects, but hope you avoid them (or get the only good one - pregnant!!!) Good luck!

    I just finished my 3rd cycle of 100mg and the s/e I experienced were hot flashes, headaches and the occasional mood swing. :) They usually ended the day after my last pill. I also noticed they got progressively worse with each cycle.
