Is anyone using Women's Health Alliance for their pre-natal care? We are using one of their midwives and we have our first appointment on Thursday. Wondering if she does an u/s on the first visit like most doctors.
We used Women's Health Alliance but not their midwife, sorry. But if it helps at all Dr. Brodsky did do a quick ultrasound on our first visit. You can always call and ask.

I saw the midwives at WHA up til 32 weeks. I had an earlier U/S because of other issues, but I don't think they planned to do an U/S until 20 wks. Their nurse is incredibly responsive to all phone messages. If you want/need to know ahead of your appt, I'm sure she'd get back to you ASAP.
just thought of this: they always scheduled u/s as a separate appt from my visit with the midwife. the u/s tech works for the entire practice, both obs and midwives. if they were planning an u/s, i think you'd have 2 appt times back to back.

We used a doctor, not a midwife, but had a great experience delivering at Baylor!! The facilities are great and the nurses were superb!
And, in case you need/want it, my doctor is Patricia Harris of the Carter/Hays/Bakos/Martin group. Love her!!!
