30 Wks, 2-3cm dilated, and contracting.

Just curious if there is anyone else experiencing or have experienced what is happening to me now in my pregnancy? My doctor sent me to the hospital yesterday, but ultimately sent home.  I have to wait until tuesday to have a test done to determine whether or not I will go into labor early or not.  A little nervous, because I don't know what to expect this early on.

    Not to worry... I am sure that you're in great hands!  I just had my son 6 weeks ago & he was 8 weeks early.  My water broke on a saturday & I gave birth on tuesday afternoon.  At the hospital, they were able to give me a two part steroid shot which had to be 24 hrs apart.  I was really glad this was done because the baby never needed to be on a respirator, nor did he need oxygen!  He spent 19 day in the NICU, but is doing great!  He was born weighing 4 lbs & 17.5 inches long.  As of last week, he weighed in at 6.5 lbs & 20 inches long!  So, I know it's hard, but not to worry, just try to relax.  I'm sure you & your baby will be just fine.  Wish you all the best!  Congratulations!!
