3rd Trimester

2 pairs of pants

I know I still have a looooong way to go and its only gonna get worse, but I am really getting sick of my 2 pairs of work pants.  I have one black and one khaki (I also have a pair of gray that i never wear because they fit me weird and they arent comfortable at ALL).  I look at all of my awesome pre-preg clothes and just sigh.  Im also being a stubborn mule tho too and not gonna go buy pants when I have 6 1/2 weeks left (Im 6' tall, so I have to mainly order offline)

Anyone else missing the days when we had OPTIONS for outfits?

  • Yeppers! I am down to 2 pairs of work pants as well (thank goodness for Jeans Friday). But mine are both black and differ in style a little bit but you KNOW i'm the only one that can tell! I'm sure everyone at work thinks i wear the same pants M-Th.

  • Yes- I have one pair of black, 1 gray, and 1 pair of leggings- at least when I get ready in the morning there's not too much to choose from- Stick out tongue
  • Oh yeah! I have the opposite problem in that I'm short so unless I order online I'm tripping all over the extra length. I miss pants that actually fit comfortably! And the many options of shirts. I seem to have only pink, blue and purple shirts in maternity, so I miss the diverse color choices I have in my "normal" wardrobe.

  • Yea. I have on pair of jeans (that are uncomfy) and 1 pair of "nice" sweatpants that still fit me. And Im down to 4 l/s tops that fit me. I look like a slob & I dont care anymore!
  • im not going to lie, ive had only 1 the entire pregnancy. ive even told my coworkers (small place-only 9 of us) not to judge me because i wasnt shelling out for more! they were a little too big in the beginning and now they fit. ive been mixing it up with dresses that i could still wear, too. ive only got 3 more weeks of work, though.
  • OMG... YES!

I've gotten away with sweat pants a time or two. and house shoes once. lol.. i don't interact with customers so why can't i come to work comfy? lol. they just looked at me and asked "does your feet hurt" and i said yes they sure do. My boss smiled laughed and then walked off. Nothing else was said about it.

  • Yes.  I have literally been wearing the same pair of jeans every single day because they are the only pants I have left that fit.  I wash them every few days, but I am so sick of not having anything else to wear.  Although I will definitely miss the stretchy panels when I go back to my regular jeans.

  • My issue is with shirts.  All my maternity shirts are getting small.  I can still wear all my regular pant with the help of a bella band.  But I really really just want to wear all my old stuff!
  • I'm totally refusing to buy anymore pants. Target (LizLange) has a couple of sweaters i want to get next week, but these can be worn for 2 months after...but i'm done spending anymore $$ on these things. Next i'll be rounding everything up to put it on eBay.
  • YES!! I have two colors of Khaki and they don't fit that great anymore, and it is too cold to do the skirt thing even with tights I fear....but I am being stubborn too, since at most I will work 7 more weeks. I might splurge on some new pants for my shower this weekend if and only if I find a killer deal.

  • I feel your pain.  I too am 6 feet tall and as difficult as it is to find pants when you're not pregnant, its much harder now.  Then you can't try them on because you're ordering online and they don't fit right.  Old Navy has been my go-to site, but I'm feeling the rotation woes as well.  Who wants to spend all the $ when its such a short amount of time?  Plus, who has tall maternity consignment shops or friends who are also tall?
  • I have one pair of maternity pants.  It was such a pain in the @ss to find a pair that fit me that is all I have.  I have been wearing my pre-pregnancy dresses with knee high socks, LOL!
  • i'm loving the top you have on in your pic!  where'd you get it?
