I'm so 1st tri right now, it's not even funny. ?But I just ate a jumbo sized Special K bar, and before taking the last bite, I took a very close look at the chocolate frosting. ?It had, like, specks on it. ?Colorless tiny specks that kind of looked like condensation, but there wasn't condensation. ?Was that MOLD? ?And if so, is that really bad?
I made the bars Saturday night, so would they have gotten moldy already? ?They didn't taste funny at all....
Ew. ?I'm really grossed out. ?Ew.
Re: uh, what does mold on chocolate look like?
'older' chocolate often turns white/splotchy on top when it's drying out. Sometimes I see that on new stuff, it shouldn't be a problem.
Mold is white & fuzzy.
If I had my raspberries that I bought from HEB on Monday I could show you.
you're referring to chocolate "blooming."
