I hate having to work and seem to find any excuse possible to stay home...anyone else do this? I shouldn't especially since DH isn't working right now....I'm always so paranoid about losing my job
i did when I had a pile of benefit time...then I used up a lot of it when we moved...basically, I don't stay home unless I can get paid for it, but if I can, I take it whenever I want a Mommy day...
No. I'm saving my time for baby number 2 and for any sick days or closed daycare days for DD. I'm also the only person in my office who works on many of my projects, so things have been very busy for me since returning from mat leave last spring.

This. DS and I have both been sick and I'm probably going to have to use my 4th!! sick day this month and it is really stressing me out. I am the type who never took a sick day before having a kid and I'm also in the mind set of trying to save up my time for my next maternity leave, which at this rate will be in 8 years.

Same, and with the budget so tight, I really want to shine. I came back to work after only 5 wks of maternity leave, even though I could have taken much more. I do flex my time, but I rarely take vaca or sick leave.
yes, but not on purpose. I am burning through sick and vacation time as quickly as I get them because Addy has been sick or a doctor appointment or DH got sick or MIL in hospital etc etc.
Same here, seems like every month either I am sick or ds is sick or both of us.
