? for those with LO in day care

I recently found out about the working moms site and so glad I did before returning to work on Monday!  DD has been to day care 3x so far (twice last week and will go twice again this week as a transition period) and currently wakes up later than is optimal in the mornings so that I can get her dressed/fed before leaving for work on time.   Do you wake up your LO or go with their normal waking pattern (assuming you have some flexibility with your start time at work in the morning)?  TIA!

    when DS was that little, I would wake him up and nurse him before we left.  He was almost always asleep again by the time we got to daycare. 

    Now, his schedule is sort of set around when i need to get to work so it really isn't an issue.

    I work from home so I have complete flexibility in start times. Until a few months ago, I always let DD sleep however late she wanted. If she slept really late (i.e. past 8:30 AM, compared to her normal wakeup time of 8 AM or earlier), I got up and did some work until she woke up.

    She started preschool back in June and now has to be there at 9 AM, so I wake her up accordingly. Luckily, most days, she does wake up in time on her own, but every now and then, we have a rough morning...

    I have to wake my daughter up for daycare M-F...i hate doing it too, she looks so sweet sleeping! Then on the weekends I let her sleep in until she wakes naturally. She seems to be doing good with this arrangement.

    I try to let DS wake up on his own as much as possible - I can flex my time at work so it's not a problem if I get in a bit late. DS got used to going to bed around 7pm so that he would wake up on his own at 6am and that worked great for a few months. Now he sleeps less during the day (noisy daycare) so even though he still goes to bed at 7pm he wants to sleep longer in the morning. If he's not up by 8am, I wake him up.

    I have to be to work at a certain time, so I do have to wake DS up if he's still sleeping.

    Now, at age 2, it's pretty much his routine........he usually wakes up on his own around the time that I'd have to wake him up.

    I leave for work at 6:50, so I wake DD and nurse. Until she was 6-7 months, she went back to sleep and DH would wake her when he left. Now, she stays up - some days I have to wake her, some days she is already up, but she would normally wake on her own by 6:30 so I don't feel too badly.

    I wake my girls - it is the only way it would work out.  It sucks on the weekends since they now have their internal body clocks set to the weekday time and I would love to sleep a little later on the weekends.
