m/s getting worse - suggestions?

I really hate whining and complaining about m/s, but crackers don't work! Ginger makes me gag. I don't have a taste for anything. Any other suggestions? Has anyone tried unisom? I've puked 3 times the past 12 hours.......no signs of relief anywhere

  • My doctor put me on Zofran and it is really helping.  It's cut the throwing up down to almost never and the constant queasiness is almost gone too.

  • Zofran... it took the edge off for me. They first put me on 5mg, but that made it worse, so they upped it to 10mg and that helped.

  • Haha...I just wrote the same stuff to my SIL.  I have know idea of what to fix it.  I am going to mention it to the dr later this week but I have found my one food that doesn't come back to haunt me and that is what I stick with (pb&j if you are curious)

  • phenergan. Zofran didn't work for me but phenergan is a godsend.
  • I know it will not fill you or make it go away.... but popsicles were my lifesaver when mine was like that. Still is on most days... and i usually start my day off with a bowl of instant oatmeal and a popsicle. The popsicle will at least refresh you. Dr also told me ice chips to make sure you stay hydrated.

I have zofran but for some reason i olny like to take it on days that are really bad... but it does work very well also. Gook luck, hope you feel better!
