Passed 1 hour glucose!!

WHEW!!!! I had to take the 1 hour glucose on Friday b/c my DS was such a big baby. I did not have GD with him, but I did fail the 1 hour at 27w and had to take the 3 hour at 28w which I passed. Anyway, the doc just wanted to test earlier this time and then again at 27w. I PASSED!!! YAY YAY YAY!

Sorry for my excitement, the 3 hour test is dreadful and I did not want to have to take that in the first tri!!

I'm jealous. I had GD with #1 and I suspect I'll have it this time around. Just out of curiosity I've been testing my fasting numbers and they've been high and I'm not sure I want to inform my OB about it. I hated both the 1 hour and the 3 hour!

Is your OB testing you early?? I think I would have died if I had to take the 3 hour in the first tri. The 1hr drink made me feel horrible ALL DAY!

Surprisingly, no. I'm sure if I tell them that my numbers have been running high they'll want to test me and I don't think that I'll be able to keep the drink down.

Yeah, I have a very strong stomach (I haven't puked since I was 10) and it made me feel so nauseous all day!

Yay, that's awesome!

I remember hanging my head out the window as DH drove me to the appt after I drank that nasty orange crap. Can't they make a grape or cherry flavor? I can't imagine having to do that test in 1st tri!

How big was your ds?

My son was 7.2 and he was 3 wks early.

I failed my one hour with him and then borderlined on my 3 hour. They did not treat me as though I had GD but I am afraid they will make me take the 1 hour soon this time.
