So I just had to go tell my boss that someone will be calling him to complain about me.

The guy kept calling me "sugar" "baby" and "honey" after about the third "baby" I told him he could call me Surf which is my name or our conversation was over. He told me I needed to loosen up and not be at "b!tch" - sometimes I really hate working for the general public! Angry

Don't worry. I've had to tell my boss that I might be complained about, but the offending party has never had the guts to actually call and complain. They generally realize they are a tool.

I agree - what a jerk! I think you were perfectly justified in asking to be called by your name, especially in a work setting. Sounds like you handled that very well.
