Omg....my 3 year old does so great with peeing. Almost no accidents!!! And hes so good about it. KNowing when to go and doing it on his own!
I'm at my wits end with the Poop!!!!
He just goes in his underwear! I've tried everythign! I literally run him to the potty when I think hes going, offereed treats, presents, you name it!
Did this happen to anyone????/
Should I just leave him in a pull up until he's ready?? I'm so happy hes in underwear and really dont want to go backwards but I'm losing it!!!

Re: Potty Training POOP (boys)
Before my son was born, I used to read about this and think, "No way!" My daughter was much more likely to poop in the potty and have pee accidents, which makes sense to me -- it's easier to feel when you have to poo, and easier to hold it until you get to the potty.
But my son did this exact same thing. I told him that I wanted him to wear underwear and continue to pee in the potty, but that he could still use a diaper for poop. BUT... he had to be a big boy and tell me when he needed that diaper, and NEVER poop in his underwear. After all, it wasn't fair to poop on Lightning McQueen and 'Mater, which was his underwear of choice at the time.
He would ask for a diaper for poop (I made him stand in the bathroom while he pooped, so I could just drop the poop out of the diaper into the toilet) and then wiped him and put his underwear back on. I tried to make it as close to using the potty as possible (i.e., I used toilet paper and not wipes, wiped him standing but bent over, not laying on the floor, changed him standing up, not laying on the floor like a baby, etc.)
After about 3 months, out of the blue one day he told me "On Sunday, I'll make poop in the potty." And he did!
