Which would you rather receive as a present

I'm going to a baby shower for a former co-worker.  We're friendly, but not super close or anything.  I want to spend about $30 to $40 on the present.

Which would you rather get? 

(1) Miracle Blanket (not on her registry, but I know she's planning to swaddle and the MB has worked so well for me I want to spread the love) -- $30

(2) Trumpette mary jane socks ($20) and a little outfit from Target ($10)
