  I think I actually feel bad for the Baby Einstein company on this. You know that tons of people who loved their DVDs will return them just because they can. Serioiusly, who actually thinks that plopping down a baby in front of a DVD will make them smarter? And who can truly be shocked that they don't really make babies smarter?

  I certainly am guilty of using the TV to get stuff done, but I don't actually think he's learning something he wouldn't be learning if I was talking to him!

  ntnylizard... please don't think I was directing my post to you. After re-reading it in innerpeace's quote, I sounded kind of angry and mean. That's not how I meant it, it was more like a Jerry Seinfeld "seriously, people think that?" kind of voice in my head. And yes, I just admitted that there are voices in my head.

  Anyway, I wanted to clear that up.

  No offense taken!!  I never bought into the Baby Einstein schtick, so I have nothing to gain or lose.  Just thought I'd throw it out there for moms who could use another $30 or $40 in their pockets.
