DIY Changing Pad ? ? ?

Our dimensions on the top of our dresser are a bit smaller than what the standard Changing Pad is.

I was thinking of buying foam and making my own but cutting it to size and adding fiberfill.

Did anyone else make their own?

  • I'm not planning to make my own, but don't see any reason why you can't. I don't think you'd have to add fiberfill to the foam though...

Make sure if you go to Joann's to buy the foam to take a coupon! We bought 2 inch thick foam for our bassinet and it runs $28/yard normally.  And you might think of using a waterproof pillow protector as a first layer cover, then put a prettier fabric cover on top to wash.

Did you look on Amazon or google different sizes of changing pads? I saw multiple sizes on there when looking for a bassinet mattress.
