Are you on Facebook? Do you have your maiden name on there? I just added mine and it feels so weird. I had to double check that I didn't spell it wrong! haha. So strange to have it next to my first name since it's been so long.
If you're not on FB, why not? Just b/c you don't have time or you're private or what? I can't believe I got suckered, but it's kinda fun and I have reconnected w/ some people I hadn't thought about in years. Plus, 3 of my ex-boyfriends friended me and one of them is hot now. Boo-yah! People thought I was weird for dating him in the first place. ha!
And totally random, 2 of Jay's ex-girlfriends friended me! That sorta creeps me out.
Aaaannyywayyy. I guess I'll go to bed now. No more nesting/FBing in the middle of the night now that my babies are sleeping and stuff. Lame.

I grew up in a military family so we moved a lot and it's been a great way to reconnect with friends from all over the country.

Yes, I'm on FB and have my maiden name. I didn't at first but then some high school people started adding me and probably thought it would be easier to reconnect.
I love it! I'm addicted. I don't update as much as other people but Iove connecting with others, seeing pictures, etc.
Some of exH's old gfs and friends have friended me too. I wish exH and his wife would join the FB world. It would make keeping him in touch with the big kids easier on me... since all the work falls to me.
Yes, I'm on there with my maiden name. I was actually on FB before I was married so I just added my married name when I got married (after I changed my relationship status, ya know?

Oh, and I'm friends with my Ex-Boyfriend (the serious one that gets the caps). It's been so long that DH doesn't care. Plus he's all hairy and squishy now (EB, not DH)
I am on FB and have my maiden name on there. Like most of the others, I have it on there to make it easier for people that I haven't seen in a while find me. And in addition - your question about the ones not on FB because of time issues - I really probably don't have the time to be on there or here, but do it anyway
although I probably shouldn't. It is really fun reconnecting with people you haven't seen in ages.
I have my maiden name listed too, but it doesn't seem weird. I guess because I've always had it on there (had FB before I got married).
I totally FB stalk my exes (and DHs too - I have his password
). I'm not sure why, but I have this sick fascination with keeping up with them. One of them that was a particular jerk just had a messy break up and I got a little bit of pleasure out of it. I know, I'm horrible.

Combination of the two. One main draw is that so many nesties are on there and I often feel left out not know what the cool kids are talking about. But then I would have to have my screen name and real name linked and I do not want that.

I'm ob.sessed. with Facebook. Okay, not "obsessed" but it's a great way to kill time. Now that my mom is on Facebook, it's a lot easier to share pictures of the baby...I don't feel like I have to call and/or email EVERY day since she checks my page to look at pictures of the baby. (Although, it is kind of annoying when my mom calls me out for not having uploaded new pictures to Facebook in a timely manner.)
My maiden name is there because when we got married I legally changed my middle name to my maiden name so it doesn't feel weird. I'm not friends with any ex's - and wouldn't really want to be either - but I have gotten messages from at least one of them, congratulating me on the babes and all. Don't get me wrong. I would looooove to see what a few of them are up to these days, but I wouldn't really want them to see all about me. Double standard. I know. And yet I care not.
I'm not friends with any of DH's ex's because the nice one isn't on FB and another hates my guts, and I don't really care about the rest.

Yeah, my mom totally calls me out on FB all the time. Like, "did you call your grandma like I asked you to?" Yes - very lame!
I have my maiden name also so people from high school and college can find me.
Oh, and FB keeps suggesting my Ex-Boyfriend of 6 years as a friend to add, but I haven't because when I ran into him at Target while I was 8 months PG, he casually mentioned that he still loved me. A tad bit too stalkerish if you ask me. BUT, I am the opposite of you Joyco, I take my sick pleasure in the fact that he is not hot anymore and still appears to be the slacker I told him he was when I broke up with him!

I'm on FB and have both my maiden name and married name behind my first name, so that people can find me. I love FB too! It makes it so easy to keep up w/everyone!
Yep and no I don't have my maiden name on there but it hasn't prevented old school friends from figuring out it's me (via other classmates) and adding me.
I'm not interested in having my exes know my married name or really anything about me, just like Feisty. It would be interesting to know what they're up to but not to the point of me sharing my info.
I do love FB but I'm not on it as much any more because of work. Just like the Nest.
