Discharge w/ pink stringy blood????

in 1st Trimester

Ladies have any of you experienced this sort of pinkish blood mixed with clear discharge at around 8w?  I am wondering if it would be common?   I am calling my OB, just hate to be scared.  I am t trying to recall my m/c I had last year, but it is such a vague memory now that I do not want to relive! I am hoping everything is fine.  The cramping is achy and dull, nothing persistent or strong.  Again, I do remember that last year and that is why this scares me. 

I am off to call OB.  But, I know it will probably make me panic more than I probably already am.

    I called my OB.  They said to monitor it, and the cramping for now.  If it becomes into heavier bleeding, and persistent cramping to call them back.  For now just no heavy lifting, intercourse, or excessive walking.  I guess it is a waiting game.  I just hate to admit, but do not want to re-live this nightmare from last year!

    i'm sorry to hear you're spotting, i know how scary it is. as hard as it is, try not to compare it to your mc-- it will only make you paranoid. just remind yourself that you are doing everything in your power to address the situation and remain calm. also remember that spotting in and of itself is very common and often is not a problem. sometimes it's just due to the placenta strengthening in your ute-- which may be more of a good sign then a bad!

    I had that too a few weeks ago and a couple of times since then. I was freaking out too (and this is my second baby, and second time its happened!). I ended up getting an ultrasound and everything was fine. I was panicking for no reason, but I completely understand where you are coming from! I
