Anyone had one? What clinic did you use, or doctor? I have only used Fairview clinics and they won't do it! I live south of cities and can't find any clinics in my area, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
I have no idea if they'll do VBAC, but I have wonderful things to say about OB/GYN West. They have offices in Minnetonka and Eden Prairie. If you're in the southwest metro, they would be great. If you're in the southeast metro, they might be too far away. GL!
I've been researching this a bit myself. The ICAN website is a really good starting tool...this is the local site...https://www.icantwincities.org/
I delivered at Regions in St. Paul, they have a "No VBAC restrictions" policy thank god. Some hospitals have them banned completely, some leave it up to the doctor and some, like Regions, have no restrictions. There is a map of the hospitals' stance on VBACs on the website.
I had vbac last year at St John's in Maplewood and saw Dr Jory Bourroughs at Comprehensive Healthcare For Women in Woodbury. I highly recommend them!!! At first I was seeing a midwife at Healthpartners in White Bear Lake but they only delivered at I think Regions because they didn't have an OB on call at John's 24 hours. I didn't want to deliver there so I switched doctors and am so happy that I did!!!
I went to Fairview (Riverside) and had a c-section. My dr. (Dr. Van Dis) from the women's medicine dept. performed it and afterwards she said if I got pregnant again I could try for a vaginal birth. You might want to look in to her.
