my poor little boy

My ds was waiting for his lunch (he wanted "souuu" which basically means ramen noodles with no liquid).  When it was cooling, he figured he would just grab it and eat.  Big mistake.  He dumped piping hot noodles on his thigh which immediately blistered.  Now he's got a red spot and a very full blister on his thigh.  Fortunately we didnt need to take him in right away, it's something that can be dealt with at home, but my heart breaks for him because it's hurting him and I have to keep checking it.

It's a good thing I never give him the liquid.  It's not so very good that he's soo very independent.
