Sling question

Sorry, I'm sure you get lots of these types of questions often... I looked through a bit and couldn't really find what I'm looking for.

Based on what I have read, DH and I have decided that we'd like to start off with a Moby and a ring sling (like a Maya). First of all -- do you think those are good choices?

I posted on Swap Spot that I would like to trade formula checks for either of those. I had a reply about the Moby (just hoping it goes through), and someone said she doesn't have a ring sling, but has a Hugamonkey.

Have you heard of those? Comparable enough to a ring sling? Recommended? DH and I are interested in babywearing, but don't want to start off with tons of different types of carriers, but want to start off with some good ones (w/o spending lots of money...)

    Those are great choices. I don't know anything about the Hugamonkey though.

    We love our Maya and DH wears her in it sometimes too (he wont try the Moby). It's easy to fit both of us. Not all slings would be. If you want it to fit you both I think you'll have to get a ring sling vs a pouch.?
