Your pics and thoughts on a black and white nursery?

They say that the first colors babies see are black, white, and red. I do not plan on finding out my baby's gender and thought that black, white, and sage would look nice for either. If you have pictures or opinions, please, lay them on me!

I think black and white with an accent color would make a great nursery!

Personally, I would use a brighter color than sage as an accent, but I think that's a personal style issue (I think I'd use yellow in just a few places or a bright sky/aqua blue).

This site has great ideas - just look though the pics - although there isn't a black and white specific page they are sprinkled throughout.

We are doing a black-white and hot pink nursery. I love it. I considered doing teal as my accent color. Black and white are pretty easy to find decor stuff in right now also

Not my style... personally, I don't like black in a baby's nursery. But then again, I'm fairly traditional in my taste and not a huge fan of "modern" nurseries...

I think it would look great with green accents...either sage or a true green would work!

i love the idea! I would probably prefer a brighter accent color if I were choosing, but sage would look nice with black and white.

Okay, so the second link you provided that says "random ideas"... What is that ruffly looking thing in the middlie of the screen? Is it a light fixture? I think it looks awesome, but the website isn't very user friendly...

Also, I am interested in using yellow now instead of green. It looks really nice and I have a lot of green in my house already, because it's my favorite color. Maybe I should change it up a little!

I love, love, love a black & white nursery. That was our plan at first. We would accent with pink or blue once our baby is born. Right now, the plan is a bright white chair rail moulding, with light grey walls above. Now, I'm thinking white, and light grey stripes above the chair rail. Now I see all these black & white ideas & I just don't know.

Our furniture is black (Munire Essesx), and our bedding (2 sets) is black & white so I think it'll look awesome no matter what.
