i was playing with DS and i smiled really big at him. he looked straight at me and smiled back...

think it was real or just a coincidence??

I say real! But I'm also going through this too. My daughter has done that twice but I think it's too young for her to do that yet and know what she is doing. But I'd take it! :-)

The first time DS smiled AT me it was different from his random smiles, I could just tell. Your LO is just around the time for social smiles, it could very well be.

DS gave me his first smile right around 3 weeks. DH had to wait a while longer though

Really?? So good to know! It happened both time at her 2:30am feeding! It was so awesome! Yeah I wonder when DH will get his..!
