probably a dumb? re: colostrum, possible TMI

With Bean I was leaking a good amount of colostrum before she was born- enough to wear a breast pad for at least a few weeks before I had her.  I weaned her about 6 months ago.

So now, I haven't had much colostrum leak at all.  I've maybe noticed it in the morning 2 or 3 times, but just on me, not even on my bra or anything.  Significantly different.  Is this going to affect how my milk comes in/if it comes in?

  • I never leaked anything while pg and now have an ample supply. My milk came in fine too.

  • I didn't leak either and my milk came in a-ok.
  • It shouldn't. I asked this question at a BFing class because my mom leaked a ton with me and then not at all with my sis, and so far we are a lot alike in BFing terms. She had zero milk supply issues for either of us, and the lactation consultant said some times women just leak more with a pg, it is like nausea or heartburn, just because one pg you have that symptom doesn't mean you will each pg.
  • You're also more stretched out this time, so you have a high capacity that can fill before leakage happens.
