Twin-tuition

Anybody ever just have a "feeling" they were having twins and it ended up being so?  I have no family history of twins and no fertility drug use. (Although we did use a potent Chinese Herb combo to rev up my cycle after no period for years). I had twin dreams starting right when I got my BFP at 8 DPO and still have this odd sensation I'm having twins.  Never felt this way with DS.  Today I asked Ethan if he thinks the baby is a boy or a girl.  He said, "A girl...and a boy.  There's lots and lots of babies."  WEIRD!  I'm sure it's all in my head and I will be MORE than happy if it's just one.  Just curious if anyone else had weird hinky intuition that turned out to actually be twins?

    I'm having twins and don't have it in the family either so it's definitely possible and it happened naturally.  I never expected it to be twins though so it was an unexpected pleasant surprise! Good luck!!!

    i'm just butting in about your intuition-  and your DS's intuition!  A co-worker of mine found out she was pg after her DD told her "there's a baby in your belly"...she took a test and it was a BFP, they weren't even trying or anything.  So maybe your DS is right!  please keep us posted.  :)

    I don't know how she understands this....but I told DD that there was a baby one time and pointed to my belly. Now she keeps trying to lift up my shirt and say baby......So I play it off like....oh you don't need to see mama's button....let me see yours. It is really cute but I don't know why she paid attention to me that one time. There is a little girl at her daycare who has a baby in her mommy's tummy. Maybe it is from that.

    No twins here (as far as I know), but they would be crazy if you were having twins!  Keep us up-to-date!  When do you get your first u/s?

    My husband and I both have no family history of twins and got pregnant with twins naturally. My husband and sister both said I was having twins before we had the ultrasound. I was absolutely shocked and had no idea.

    When I first found out I was pregnant, I never would have imagined we'd have twins, but after a few weeks, something just felt off. I felt really sick and just "big." People would tell me it was all in my head and that it was too early in the pregnancy for me to be having these symptoms or feeling this way but I knew something was up. I thought maybe I was further along than I had originally thought so I asked my dr. if we could do an ultrasound to check. The night before I had it done, I was laying in bed and I thought "Whoa, what if it's twins?" And lo and behold the ultrasound showed that I was exactly as far along as I'd thought, but there were two! You never know!

    haha you ladies are freaking me out with all this "twin talk" ! Even before we got pg we have been seeing EVERYTHING twins! Its crazy and scares the crap out of me! lol I wont know for a couple more weeks still hopefully just one for me! =P

    I feel silly for imagining all this but who knows....  I have an ultrasound on Friday.  I'll let ya know!
