Holiday gifts for daycare providers in columbia

Our DD goes to a daycare with a group setting.  There's 3 classes in each group, with each class having 2 teachers. 

Who do I get gifts for, and what's the going rate in the Columbia area?  Do I get something for thanksgiving and Christmas, or just Christmas?

    I would just do xmas.

    My sil used to be in daycare and she told me that they get so much lotions, sprays, candles and stuff like that. I would stay away from that sort of stuff. I would do a gift card. Either for a restaurant or place like Target or Walmart.  I would probably do $30 each. Some will say it is proper to do 1 days pay but not everyone can do that and I am sure that the teacher will appreciate anything.

    I'm going to get DD's main teacher - that I deal w/ day in/day out and talk to a GC to Target for Xmas.  Maybe $50ish?? 

    I'll also probably bring breakfast one morning in December (or bake cookies?) for the other teachers in the room.

    I was a day-care teacher in Columbia and we usually got gift cards only for Christmas.  $50 is extremely generous.  I was happy with cards for $10 to Target/Starbucks.  I also didn't mind the lotions as gifts.  :)
