DaVinci Kalani Crib Question

Hello all,

We are looking for opinions on cribs. We are having twin girls in March (at least the due date is March) and we are deciding on our crib. We think we are going to go with the DaVinci Kalani. Has anyone had experience with it?

We were all set for it until we went to a crib store and the salesman pointed out it was a soft wood/lighter crib, unlike some of the others (which were very nice but much more expensive).

All thoughts will be greatly appreciated!!

    Take a look at the reviews on walmart, this is under a different name but it's the same.. (it's also cheaper here than under the DaVinci brand)

    x3!  This is the one we have as well (Kalani & Cadence are the same exact crib just sold under different names - and prices!) and so far so good - we really like it!

    I know this doesn't help but I also ordered the Baby Mod Cadence from Wal-Mart and it will be here today. :)

    We also have the Baby Mod Cadence. Of course it hasn't been used yet, but so far we really like it. It is a softer wood, but it's very sturdy and looks beautiful. We sent our parents pictures after we set it up, and my MIL went on and on about how nice it looked in the pictures.
