When you called to make your first appt...

Did you just speak with the nurse or the scheduling person?  I just want to make sure I get scheduled at the right time, I O'd on CD20 so a little late.

    I just spoke to the person who answered the phone.

    She asked when I had my last period, I answered her and they put me on the books for the time frame they wanted to see me.  Your due date is just an estimate anyway.

    This.  They'll change your EDD when you get your first u/s.

    I talked to the woman who answered the phone.  She asked me for the date of my LMP and told me when they wanted to see me.

    Same for me, just spoke to the scheduling person. She told me everything that would occur at the appointment and that I won't be released to OB from GYN until the tests are complete.

    This. I Think it's pretty common in OBs offices for receptionists to do this.

    I spoke with the MOA (Medical Office Assistant) when scheduling the appointment, and with the Nurse Practitioner when I had more detailed questions about what the appointment would entail

    My OB's staff is all nurses, so a nurse answered when I called.  I am going in on Thursday of this week, because Thursday is the only evening they are there, and it is the only Thursday they could see me before I'm supposed to have hand surgery.
