I think I'll need to POAS (tmi)
ok here goes nothing.
I was cleared for sex at 4 weeks but DH was out of town-which was fine with me because I wasn't ready. In the meantime though, I ordered condoms by mail (I am super allergic to latex so I got a certain kind). Well DH comes home and of course the condoms aren't here yet-you can see where this is going...I didn't think I would be interested but DH was all handsome and charming and he totally worked at it.
So we did it-no birth control or protection whatsoever. And it wasn't so bad-like ripping off a band aid but VERY slowly. Then it turned out to be good.
Anyway I couldn't sleep at all thinking about getting pregnant again. I would be so embarrassed thinking that others would think "how could you let this happen?" Plus I am LOVING not being pregnant. So I did some research and because I'm EBF, the chance of getting pregnant is like 2%. Great so I'm probably good.
The next day (and this is where it's TMI) I have this clear stringy stuff coming out. I only get this when I ovulate. And for a couple days around that I was like totally horn doggity but now I'm over it. And it just scares me that I got pregnant with DS the first time I ovulated before (6 weeks after going off BC). And all the rumors that you are most fertile after giving birth. True?
I haven't had a period yet so I wouldn't know when to expect one. When can I POAS to be sure?
I'm sure lots of people will write and say, "You did what?!" I KNOW!! I don't know what happened!! But if you want to write and say you had unprotected sex and you did not get pregnant, that would be nice. Or if you want to write and tell me about Irish twins :-) that would freak me out but that would be fine too. I just need some feedback and a reality check of some kind.

POAS, that's the only way you'll know.

Frankly, I'd trade you. I'd love to be pregnant again.
What is POAS?
Im scared for you btw - Im terrified of getting pregnant again. Could it be that stringy stuff is just semen..? Leaking out the next day? Sry if thats tmi but seems like the most logical. I am ebf and have no idea when to expect a period either! Is it true your most fertile after you give birth? Scary!

I would poas to be on the safe side, also please remember that EBF is not a reliable form of birthcontrol, its about the same as the pull out method. I recommend that if you are not pregnant and do not wish to become pregnant now that you either go on birthcontrol or use condoms.

My Ovulation Chart
DH is an Irish twin and his twin is his BFF. They are joined at the hip and couldn't be closer if they were actual twins. They even look like one another and get mistaken for the other constantly.
Regarding POAS, I would think you could give it a go in 3 weeks? That would be about the time you ovulate, right?
