Carved Pumpkins Last Night

My daughter and I went to the store last night to pick out the perfect pumpkins. She got to choose 2 which took about an hour to do. After we got them home we set up a spot in the kitchen to carve them. With the camcorder at the ready we cut the top of the first one off. She had her scooping spoon at the ready only to stick it in once scoop out four seeds and say "I'm done, I don't want to get sticky and yuky" One of those moments you love to get on video! Needless to say the rest of the carving was done by mommy.

LOL! That's so cute. Isn't that just the way it goes? DS did that at his 1st birthday. Didn't want to get messy in his cake at all!

Lol, my DS was the same way. He was so excited to carve pumpkins, until we actually did. He said it was "messy and yucky".
