  • Yeah... I posted this a few days ago but when I was drying my hair, I discovered one in my armpit. Seriously.

I don't have any stretch marks higher than my belly besides that so I really don't know what the heck my body is doing. Basically, I've just decided I will need to remain fully-clothed for the rest of my life after this pregnancy between the stretch marks on my belly, hips, and now armpit.

    *Waves goodbye to bikini*

  • On my calves.  How they got there is beyond me...

Honestly, they will fade. And you will wear your bikini again. Smile Maybe not next summer, but definately summer 2011.

Because they are a badge of honor. We have pool parties all the time at my house and even my mom friends with the hottest bodies have some shiny lines on their tummies.

I look at it like this: Yes, my body has changed. Yes these lines were caused by my baby. But that baby is an amazing gift that I gave to our family and if the price I have to pay is dealing with stretch marks, then so be it. They're kind of like battle scars.  Wink

  • Yes, and on my arms, and I hate it!!! Sad
  • I have them there too.  And on my calves.  It's just weird...
  • I'm afraid to look! I try not to look to closely to the sides of my belly either. If I don't see them they don't exist right?

I'm clearly in denial and plan on staying there as long as possible! Smile

thats good for you that your embracing your stretch marks but I am not a fan and I don't care if we're "supposed" to look at them like an honor but I am NOT honored to have stretch marks. Yes I love my LO and can't wait for him to come but the stretch marks can take a hike. AND I will cover them in the future and not "show them off" if they don't fade

Edit: that sounded really bitchy when I reread that. I say GOOD FOR YOU if you embrace them but I am insecure like that lol

Haha, no worries. I was irritated....then I read who wrote it. I was like, "She CAN'T mean it as bitchy as it sounded", lol  Wink

  • Behind my knees? Oh yeah, they're there. My inner thighs and underbump are sporting some fresh ones. I've got some on my hips and boobs from puberty. Oh, and a couple in the top of my butt crack. YUP.

Sorry I am just bitchy today! I am insecure about the stretch marks. I blame DH who points them out whenever he can and says "looks like the cat scratched ya!" I am going to hide them foevah!!!

  • Yep, the only ones I've found are on my inner thighs and I have a couple on one outer thigh.  It's bizarre.
  • On the underside of my boobs.
  • Oh crap.  I haven't even looked there.  Will have to get out a mirror and check tonight.  Stick out tongue

Not sure about the bikini quite yet, but we'll see how it goes! Honestly, I'm really not that broken up about getting stretch marks. When I got tons on my belly around 20 weeks, that was tough to deal with but I'm pretty much past it now. I just find it kind of ironic that my boobs don't have stretch marks but that I find one under my arm?! Seriously, that's such a weird thing!!
