Baby Crack Machine: How do you use it?

How does it figure into your nighttime routine? Which setting do you use?

I currently nurse or wear Trent to sleep at night, and am hoping to ease us out of that using the baby crack machine. I don't have high hopes, but I will try anything. Any tips?

I guess it is part of our nighttime routine but I don't use it to help her sleep. I use it to drown out noises coming from the living room since her room is right next to it. I have it on the "rain" setting. I'll sometimes put the projector on when I want her to settle down as I get her bathtime stuff ready.

We leave it on the Rain setting all night. We don't use the projecter though.

Honestly, it doesn't help Ry go to sleep on bit. We still use it though.

We mostly use the heartbeat but we are starting to use the rain also. I turn it on right before we start his bedtime routine.

ETA: We don't use the projector. I think it keeps him up.

We also use it to drown out noise from the living room. DS is always completely asleep when I lay him down. I used to use the Ocean sound, but Rain seems to work better now. He gets too interested in the projector and wakes right up so I don't use that at night.
