I am 17 weeks pregnant and am due on April 2.  When should I start registering?  My first thought was in January but I decided that maybe I should register in December so if people wanted to get me something for the holidays they could get it off my registry.  What are your thought?

    Congratulations on your pregnancy! I think it's a good idea to register before the holidays in case people want to buy you baby stuff. Plus, it's fun to start picking stuff out. :) You can always add to it as you do more research and whatnot.

    I am due in early February and I actually registered in September because my baby shower will be in November. I figured it was a good idea to have my items picked out well ahead of my shower, for those people who are eager to get their gifts right away!

    I registered at 20 weeks after the scan. Im due in feb so my shower would be around the holidays and I wanted to give plenty of time for everyone to see. Plus, I registered in person at the store and came home and added and deleted stuff, so I wanted to allow time to fully complete everything on the registry I wanted. Jan might be a good time for.

    I registered right after I found out I was having a boy (right around the 18 week mark).  I did it early, not so much because of my shower, but because I wanted more of a "shopping list" for myself.  I definitely think that registering before the holidays is fine.  Plus, you never know...there may be people that will be going to your shower (or that just want to get you a gift) that may want to take advantage of some holiday sales!

    Congrats! MH and I registered after we had our 20wk ultrasound and we found out the gender. We really didn't want to get anything gender neutral for the nursery. If you don't want to regster just yet then people can always get neutral stuff for you.
