Pregnant after 35

Is that energy I am feeling? Yippee!

I am excited to report that for the past couple of days I have not been feeling so exhausted.  This happened before for me b/w 13 and 14 and I'm very excited!  For a few weeks there I felt like I would never drag through a day. Nausea is better too - hooray for the beginning of the 2nd tri!

  • I'm happy for you, and I'm also jealous! ?

I've been really fatigued the past two weeks, but at least my nausea is lessening--it seemed much worse last week. ?And I didn't even nap this afternoon, not for lack of trying. ?Last week I napped every day after lunch, I had to, I was so exhausted. ??

    Here's to feeling better, yay!

  • I am happy for you too!

I am still having a rough time.  Severe nausea (taking Zofran), fatigue, and constipation. :(  I am JUST barely functioning.  Can't wait to feel better and actually ENJOY being pregnant!

  • Hang in there ladies  - I was definitely where you are (minus the Zofran - sorry you're having such a rough time)  It will get better!
  • Lucky you. Enjoy it while it last. I am in energy decline now.

  • I second the support to hang in there!  That first trimester is a doozie!!  For me, it was all made worse by not really looking pregnant- so people around me still expected me to be normal me.  Relief is around the corner though.  I really started feeling better right around week 13- and it was night and day!  Rest and rest often.  I am someone who feels guilty sleeping during the day, but not this time- I took almost a daily nap- and I still stop and rest every afternoon- it really helped me.

    Good times are comin!
