Just got back from my 38 week appointment. I asked how late they would let me go and they said 10 days overdue before they would schedule an induction.
I'm 1 cm, 80%, and my cervix is "very soft"... but it has been the same since 34 weeks. My doctor said I probably will not be overdue but I know that doesn't mean anything.
How late will they let you go?
Re: How late will your doc let you go?
Okay... I guess 10 days isn't bad then. I thought most didn't let you go more than a week. Sigh.
My doc does 41 weeks

We never discussed this yet but I'm think it would depend on LO. Right now he's breech and DH and I have so far decided against the external version. So if he stays that way I'm thinking we'll schedule a c/s for before the EDD.
ETA for correct technical term

I believe my OB starts talking induction at 41 weeks, so I would gather somewhere between 41-42 weeks.
