blushes How many items are on your registry?

I am registered at BRU with 90 items and Target with 75 (some are repeats on both registries)

Is that way too many? I don't want my family to think I'm asking for hand outs. What is an acceptable number?

so far I only have about 60 items on my BRU registry.... but 20 items have already been picked up (I think mostly from my MIL) so I am debating adding more so that people have stuff to get for the shower

I think we have 70 on our BRU one. I am still planning on doing a Target one too and that will have less then 20 on it.

I think it depends on how many people are coming to your shower and if alot of them are small items. Alot of people like to buy a few smaller things off your registry.

I have about 36 at BRU and 19 at amazon.com.

But I'm not having a shower so these are just for family members and/or Christmas gifts (if anyone feels like buying baby things).

edit: Also sdo you have a number of smaller item (under $10), like bottle brush, nail clippers,... that makes a difference on the number of items too

I don't think there is an "acceptable number", it's whatever you want....just because you register for it doesn't mean people have to buy it, either, so who cares what people think! ?

I have 85 at BRU and 60 at Target. I am having about 50 people at my shower. I put everything I need/want on it. I am using as a checklist. Whatever I don't get I'll buy myself with the registry completion coupons.
