I saw your reply to my post. They found a fibroid at my first us and said it it making my uterus measure about 5 weeks ahead. They said because my last DS was c-section I will need that again because of the fibroid. Have you had any other problems with yours? It really freaked me out when they found it but my OB said there was little reason for concern, that the C-section will cover most of the concerns. Are you bigger than normal because of your fibroid s too? I already feel big and I'm just at 9 weeks!
Re: ** UTKD **
Here is my post about what my peri told me:

Fibroids are very common, so although ordinarily having one is nothing to worry about, I am not familiar with your medical history. Five were found at my first u/s, and two more were found at my second u/s, which prompted my OB to refer me to a peri. My peri said that although fibroids are very common, having seven is an awful lot! I never even knew I have fibroids. I had been on the Pill since I was a kid b/c my periods were so heavy. Apparently, heavy periods are a symptom, but since I was on the Pill, the symptoms were masked all those years. When I got off the Pill, I dreaded the heavy periods, but to my pleasant surprise, my periods were short and normal. Many women get the fibroids removed before getting PG, but since we got PG so quickly, I didn't have any reason to see an RE, who undoubtedly would have discovered the fibroids and recommended removing them first.
I think my belly is very big for being only 13 weeks; I think I look about 5 months PG! I have been wearing my bellaband since week 7. Four weeks ago, my OB told me my uterus is measuring a month ahead. I see the peri and OB tomorrow morning, so I will get more recent info then. I hope that the fibroids shrink b/c I don't want to get huge, like I'm having twins, when I'm not!
