So today I had my first u/s at 8 weeks (my LMP was 8/28-I know this for a FACT as we have been trying forever :)So I go today there is a nice strong HB the baby is measuring at 9weeks though?? and the sac is too small (they did not say what week-I failed to ask because I was trying not to cry all I thought was "oh lord not again" I have already had another m/c and one full-term birth-my DD is now threeSo the basics are the babe is 18mm and the sac is 20mm...they said they like to see a 5mm difference and I only have 2mm he did not say the big scary M word-he said some women are fine and the sac grows and some are not (don't you love that The thing is it took everything I had to make it through to 8 weeks just to make sure there was a HB that was all I cared about "just let me see it, please just let me see it" and I was so HAPPY to see it but then they tell me this wonderful news--My OB has yet to call me back to discuss anything so I am coming to you gals to see if any of you have had to deal with this and what the outcome was (the good or the bad I can take it I have to go back in two weeks to check the growth...Anyone know how I can make the sac grow :)Any advice or insight would be VERY much appreciated--I am not sure how I can get through 2 more weeks of waiting!! or the few hours for my OB to call me back :)Brenda
The u/s tech really shouldn't have said anything. The radiologist will read your u/s and discuss it w/ your OB. I would try not to freak out until you speak with your OB.

I don't have any experience with this but I wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you. T&P
