nine patch quilt block - it's so easy so its a good starting point.

knit the center patch, pick up stitches from all four sides for the cross, then using mitered squares (which are way more confusing to type out than actually knit) do the four corner patches.

there was very little seaming in the project and what seaming there was was super easy because it's in garter stitch

I saw that on your blog and I LOVE it. I can't remember if you put a link to the pattern on your blog or not? I'm sure I can look it up. I would love to have a quilt like that to snuggle up under this winter Smile

Perhaps I should make it my next project...

I *think* it's jacquiec but I'm not positive. We're heading to Target and Lowe's right now so I'll check when I get home to make sure that's it. I don't have Ravelry info saved on the Blackberry or I'd check.
