but I haven't gotten my pp-AF yet. I am still breastfeeding, which I know is why.
I've had symptoms like it's coming -- a dip in supply for one. I am at least hoping that's what it's from. Does anyone know how long their dip in supply lasted before your period actually showed up? My fingers are crossed she's finally coming....

I didn't wean, and got PG while BFing. With DD#1 and DD#2, my PP AF came back at 6.5 months PP and was regular (every 30 days). I never had a dip in my supply.
With DS, it came back at 4.5 months PP, and has been very wonky - I just got it again at 9.5 months PP.

That's not at all true. You can BF and be pregnant at the same time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, nor is it impossible.
This is so NOT true. I have successfully BF until my second trimester (when I weaned). You CAN BF through your entire PG and even tandem BF. My OB told me to BF as long as I wanted. I had no supply issues while PG and nursing.
ditto all this. You CAN BF and be pregnant!! I BF DD until my supply finally gave up on me! I got pregnant with DS while breastfeeding DD, but I got pp AF at 3.5 months with both kids and she came back regular. Right now I think I'm noticing a dip in supply before AF shows...maybe a week/week 1/2 before AF...I noticed a dip last week and AF is probably due sometime at the end of this week or over the weekend! GL with trying. I've heard of others getting pregnant while breastfeeding and not having a pp AF!
not true, and dont wean unless you want to. I got my first period at 6mo pp, and got pg while bfing 6-8 times a day when ds was 9 mons. I am still Bfing and its very possible. I will say you have to take care to eat well and hydrate yourself, but thats not an issue--I am always hungry/thirsty.
oh and OP, my doc office told me to stop, I disagreed and did my own research, just know not everyone will be on your side about it.
Ditto everyone else who said you do not have to stop BFing -- the statement that you have to is definitely not true!!! You definitely can and should BF while pg if you are not ready to wean. I got pg with DD#2 while BFing (DD#1 was 9 mo old) and continued to BF DD#1 until she was 12.5 mo. old. I chose to wean at that point. If you continue to BF while pg, you could have a drop in supply (I didn't) or your DC#1 may not like the way the milk tastes beginning around 4 mo pg (changes around that time) and then self-wean but other than that, you're good to go.
I did not have a drop in supply before AF arrived (I actually didn't experience a drop in supply at all while pg either) and I exclusively BF the whole time (until of course I started DD#1 on solids). I got AF at 9 mo. pp and got my BFP right after.
