Someone tried to get in a wreck with us last night

I totally forgot to tell you guys...yeah, as the title says, someone tried to get in a wreck with us last night.  We were driving home and were on the highway when some guy in a Mercedes SUV kept cutting us and others off, weaving through lanes and not using a turn signal.  This drives my husband crazy, so he flashed the guy with his headlights a couple of times.  The second time, the guy pulls up even with us and wags his finger at my husband, at which point my husband flicks him off.  I tell my husband to calm down, and we just continue driving. 

At which point I see the mercedes, at this point a few cars ahead of us, shift over 3 lanes (again without a turn signal) to get into a left turn lane.  I was about to tell my husband I thought something was fishy.  Thenwe  got to the point where we were just behind him, but in the next lane, and he swerves RIGHT in front of us.  We were so lucky we didn't hit him or the person in the next lane.  I looked behind me to get his license plate, and he was just sitting there smirking.

Oh, and the kicker - he had what looked like a 10 year old kid in the back seat, passenger side, right where we would have hit him had we had the wreck.
