What was your pain like after an internal?

If you had pain after you had an internal, how long did it last, and was it like one long, dull pain?  This is my first time experiencing pain afterward, and it's been over four hours, so I'm wondering what I can look forward to. :P

    I had one last week (had some issues) and it hurt during the exam ( a lot) but afterwards it went away. The next day I had an internal us and that really hurt because I guess I was "sore" but that was it.

    I can't remember how long it lasted but it did hurt for a while.. Mine wasn't dull

    My pain was similar to what I experience after a pap smear. A little cramping but nothing major. Sometimes I didn't even have any pain at all.

    I had some issues after my last one on Thursday.  I was fine when I woke up the next morning.  Guessing my body just needed rest.
