SJ Kaiser people and H1N1

I know SJ and SC Kaiser have the H1N1 flu shot available, but SC Kaiser does not have the mercury free one...does SJ Kaiser?

I'm still not sure about whether or not I am going to get it...but I am not comfortable at all getting it with the mercury.

    They did not have the merc-free ones when we went last week. I'm hearing different things about when they're supposed to be available.

    My understanding is that the Merc free one is not available at all yet.

    That's how I understand it, too. The most common time frame I have heard for when they expect to start shipping is the end of November. But, obviously, we have no way to know WHO they're shipping to.

    I've been hearing that there's no such thing as the merc free H1N1 yet.  I didn't even ask, just kept saying I was pg and got the shot.

    They told me the one I was getting was the merc "free" because...

    1. I am highly allergic to thimerasol (aka the mercury)

    2. I am pregnant

    However, I do believe that the ones they have now while maybe they are not "thimerasol free" they have trace amounts...so little that it cannot be quantified.  I believe it is a less than 1.

    I had no reaction.

    If they draw from a bottle of fluid that DOES have thimerasol because thimerasol is a preservative that prevents any contaminants from infecting the rest of the vax in the bottle.

    my understanding is they don't have preservative free H1N1 yet. 

    turns out the virus is slower growing than they anticipated thats why there is a delay and shortage.
