Annoying texts/calls

I know they mean well, but if I get one more text/call form a friend or family member asking if I had the baby yet I am going to scream!!!

First of all he technically isn't even due until tomorrow, and 2nd of all most of the people calling/texing are people that we would let know right away!

    I'm not that far along, but I can only imagine how annoying it could be.  That's why I never ask people that are close to the end.

    Those bother me too. Also when I go to DS class and his teacher says "You didn't have the baby yet". What do you think? I still have this basketball in the front of my stomach and walking like a damn duck. ( also she asks me this everyday that she see me, this been going on for a month and I still have two more weeks before my due date.) I started sending DH to pick up kids because I'm so annoyed.

    I've already stopped "regularly" answering the phones just to avoid this.  I have also made it clear that if people start asking me stupid questions like that, then I will stop answering the phone all together.

    I don't mind the texts as much as the phone calls.  I've started answering the phone by saying "I'm still here, I'm not in labor" since that's what everyone wants to know anyway.  I may start updating facebook everyday too.

    I'm a week overdue - I barely answer my phone now and I don't CALL anybody.  They all freak out and think I'm in labor when they answer the phone.  I told everybody - No news = No NEWS.

    I haven't gotten a lot from people asking if I have had the baby yet but I keep getting phone calls and texts from people asking how much longer and the notorious how are you feeling? any contractions? I swear and it's all people that we would be notifying right away if anything did start...So I can understand what you're going through to an extent. I would just keep telling people that you will let them know or even tell them that you will let them know and to not worry about it until you or DH says something.
