 Hey ladies! I wanted to get this started to allow everyone a chance to share with and support each other as we try to lose weight and/or get in better shape. I will post Mon/Wed/Fri in the evenings.

  • I am nervous. I seriously have 0 willpower sometimes. I still make it to the gym most of the time, but as far as yummy food is concerned, I am not good at avoiding. I think I better just make it my goal to be realllllly good, except for on the actual holiday, then I can splurge. I hope I can stick to that!

    I need to remind myself to start that now, for sure, as I feel like I have really fallen off the wagon lately.

  • So far I'm feeling strong, but I pretty much have given up ever trying to lose during the holidays.  My goal anymore is just to maintain from Thanksgiving until New Year's.

     I'm down 2 more pounds, so -4.  Thanks!

    On a positive note, one pair of last winter's jeans fit okay. Hurray for progress!

  • I am nervous because I have 0 will power also when it comes to yummy food. I am trying hard to be good but we also have several family bdays each month from Sept to Dec so bday parties are added to the holiday food.

    I have lost 2 more pounds though!!!! Thanks!

  • I just finished the 9 week C25K program and it was awesome!  My body tightened up and it looks a lot better.  No weight loss though, and I am still eating tons.

     I am actually hosting Christmas this year.  I did it because it's my first year with a baby and I want to start a new tradition.  We invited everyone for Christmas day, whether or not they want to show up is up to them.  My in laws, my parents (both sets), grandma, and my sibling and her child. I am going to do an Indian food spread, which is totally not-traditional I realize, but it's healthy, yummy, and easy to make for 12 people.  Think big pots of rice, stacks of naan bread, various colorful curries and vindaloos, etc.  And we will have loads of very unhealthy desserts of course.   Can't wait but yes very nervous about whether I will pull it off or not.
