Back from first U/S - not good news

I measured 5w 5d and there was just a "barely there" fetal pole with no heartbeat. This is exactly what happened when I miscarried a year before getting pg with DS. I seriously can not go through this again. =(

I have to go back Friday morning for one more u/s but the doctor said he is not optimistic and this is more than likely another m/c.

Do not get discouraged, I had my 1st u/s at 5w6d and they did not see the yolk sac, fetal pole and I had the scare of having to wait a week and at 6w6d we saw the little one and a strong heart beat. So do not loose hope and wish you the best on Friday!
